The MasterClass is the home of a selection of fine young musicians from many European countries.

The language of music is universal. Consequently, when selecting musicians for a bigband, tradtional restraints of descent, nationality or residence should be disregarded. What was true for the famous Peter Herbolzheimer Rhythm Combination & Brass now equally applies to the fine selection of young jazz musicians forming the European MasterClass.

All of them share an enthusiasm for music and the respect for the oeuvre of Peter Herbolzheimer, a tradition which they strive to honour.

A few of the MasterClass musicians have already become composers and arrangers in their own right, thus continuing the tradition in the next (but one) generation.
